Note: For stealth's sake, there is *no* helpfile other than the "Flatulator-ReadMe" file included in the zip file. This document contains everything you need to know to work the Flatulator. The Zip file should contain:
System Requirements:
Installation: Place the file "Flatulator.exe" anywhere you like. How To Run The Flatulator: There are two ways to run the Flatulator -- interactively or silent. Method 1, Interactive: Just execute the file "Flatulator.exe". You will be presented with the Options Window which will let you specify things like type of sounds played, frequency of "attacks", CD-ROM tray activation, etc. Once you set your desired options and click the "Go!" button, the program will hide and continue to run completely hidden. Method 2, Silent: Run the Flatulator executable with command-line switches that specify your desired options (see the list of available command-line switches below). If you run the Flatulator with any command-line switches, the Options Window will not appear, and the program will run hidden in the background. It will appear as if nothing happened. This is normal. This allows you to run the Flatulator silently when the computer starts (for example), or from a shortcut the victim himself clicks. You can shut down the Flatulator via the Task Manager (CTRL-ALT-DEL), or by running the exe again and clicking the "Cancel/Exit" button in the Options Window. Command-Line Switches (not case sensitive):
You can use any combination of command-line options. Example (keep it one line, sorry for the wordwrap): C:\path\flatulator.exe /nosick /frequency=20 /once /run="C:\path 2\notepad.exe" Note: if you use any command-line switches (including just /hide), all options will be turned ON and the frequency will be 10, unless specified otherwise. The /hide switch is not necessary if any other switch is used - the Flatulator will run hidden if any command-line is detected. Sneaky Tip: You can rename the executable to something less obvious to make it harder to detect. The victim may look for the file "Flatulator.exe", but its unlikely they would find "FRTONU.EXE"... |
